Seeing the Towers and the Horns in Torres del Paine - beyond description! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate in Argentina so we did not see Fitz Roy.

It's honestly difficult to provide one most memorable moment from this epic trip. Rounding and making landfall on Cape Horn (on my birthday) probably stands out. I think that's due in part to the unpredictable weather and conditions that make this a "last minute" decision to include on the itinerary. When it actually happened, there was a surreal and somewhat spiritual element to the arrival on Cape Horn. Immense kudo's and respect to all the Ventus Australis crew!!!

Both David and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Santiago through Patagonia and arriving in Ushuaia to board the Scenic Expedition ship into Antartica. We loved the mountains and the hiking.

Boat ride on Grey Lake in strong winds, going right up to the 3 arms of Grey Glacier and seeing the huge size of them from the boat.

Patagonia Camp was top notch! The yurts, staff, daily adventures, food etc. Everything was beyond amazing!
