Day 1: Our guide will meet you at the Punta Arenas airport. Transfer to Puerto Natales, a three-hour drive through the Patagonian pampa. Lodging in Puerto Natales at Kau Lodge, dinner and meeting to discuss trip programme.

Day 2: Transfer by van to Torres del Paine National Park. This is a two hour journey crossing the pampa Patagonica. Arrival at Torres del Paine. We will begin trekking to the Ascencio Valley where from above you see the river (of the same name) running wildly past refugio Chileno where we will be spending our 1st night. After a quick stop here we will continue through a forest of the native Lenga (Beech) trees until reaching the glacial moraine. From here it’s a 1 hour trek to the top where the towers appear from nowhere! This trek is spectacular where you get to view the 3 pink granite towers with its glacial lake below that made the park famous. (6 hours round trip, 16 KM ). Lodgin & dinner refugio Chileno.

Day 3: Trek along Lake Nordenskjold and below the hanging glaciers of Mount Admiral Nieto, to the base of Los Cuernos (5 hours, 11 KM). This is a great trek to learn about the flora & fauna the park has to offer. Lodging and dinner at refugio Los Cuernos.

Day 4: Trek to the French Valley. This valley, the most beautiful in the park and one of the most unique in the world. Its surrounded by hanging glaciers (where you can see & hear the ice calving off at various intervals) and an amphitheater of granite walls and spires. There are amazing views throughout this trek and the further you trek into the valley the better they become! On the return journey you will notice the extraordinary turquoise colour of Lake Pehoe (hidden lake in the Tehuelche Indian language). The trekking is 6-8 hrs depending on how far into the valley you go with a total of 24 km. Lodging and dinner at Lodge Paine Grande where you can enjoy a pisco sour in the bar that overlooks Paine Grande & Los Cuernos in the beautiful evening light.

Day 5: Trek along enchanting Lake Grey (3-4 hours 11KM) with magnificent views of Glacier Grey and floating icebergs. Visit to the glacier lookout point and to the lakeshore for up close views of vibrant-blue icebergs (Paine is a Tehuelche Indian word for "blue"). At lunch time navigate in Grey II boat, 2 hours navigation in this magic lake surrounded by ice bergs. Transfer from Hosteria Grey to Camp Pehoe Ruta. Lodging and dinner in this beautiful place with views of Paine Grande, Los Cuernos, French Valley & Almirante Nieto.

Day 6: After a relaxed breakfast there is the option to do a mini trek to Mirador Condor before returning to Puerto Natales. Free afternoon. Lodging at Kau Hostel with dinner.

Day 7: Free day. Today you can either rest or opt for 1 day activities such as kayak or horse riding (not included in the price). At 19:00 we will drop off our luggage aboard the Exploradores boat and then go out for dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner we will board the boat for the night whilst navigating 7-8 hrs approx to Canal de las Montañas travelling through the Montt Gulf, Santa Maria Canal and Sorla Vicuña to reach Seno Taraba.

Day 8: Early morning arrival to Canal de las Montañas. After breakfast we ́ll prepare the equipment for the entire day’s excursion on Glacier Bernal. We will cross the canal in kayak/zodiac boat (depending on the climate conditions), change equipment and begin a safe traverse ascending the glacier until a small plateau with the view of the whole canal below us! We will look at the different formations of this glacier to see the possibilities of ice climbing or simply advance further into the glacier between the crevasses and seracs, enjoying the incredible scenery and learning a little bit more about the anatomy of this glacier as we go along. At the end of our traverse we will return to the shore and return to our boat by kayak/ zodiac for dinner and the night.

Day 9: We begin by preparing the kayak equipment and then paddle across the canal with the view of Bernal Glacier and the Sarmiento Mountain Range behind it until we reach the entrance of the Cormorant Sanctuary where birdlife is abundant in this narrow passage and glaciers are hanging from the cliff rocks. Paddling further into this passage, passing between small icebergs along the way, we will be able to appreciate the view of Glacier Hermann with its vibrant blue tones until we reach the moraine which today is covered by water. We ́ll look for a good spot to have lunch and then take some photo ́s whilst admiring the beauty of this environment and the feeling of being in such a remote area. Dinner will be prepared and served on board our boat before settling in our bunks for the night.

Day 10: We will enjoy breakfast whilst our boat navigates towards our next adventure within this canal. We will anchor our boat near to Glacier Alsina and prepare to kayak in the bay of this glacier, after which we will paddle towards Glacier Paredes Bay. Once we enter the bay we are surrounded by tall cliffs (therefore enjoying some protection from the weather) we ́ll continue until we see one of the walls of this imposing glacier, a truly unforgettable experience. We ́ll look for a place to have lunch and a rest, then continue to enjoy paddling in one of the most incredible scenes in Patagonia! We ́ll return to our boat to celebrate our last night with a special dinner on board in the Canal de las Montañas and the Sarmiento Mountain Range.

Day 11: Today our boat will navigate towards the end of Canal de las Montañas and on leaving the Canal we will visit Glacier Zamudio to enjoy the magical views on our last day before heading back to Puerto Natales (7-8 hrs approx). The “Conjunto La Paz” (group of mountains) can be seen before arriving to the narrow White passage. We ́ll cross once more the Montt Gulf and arrive to Puerto Natales. Lodging at Kau Lodge and a farewell dinner.

Day 12: Transfer to Punta Arenas airport. End of trip.
