There were lots! it was a real surprise to be offered White Horse whisky on glacier ice on the return trip from visiting Lake Dickson and seeing the glaciers. I treasured the moment lying in The sunshine at Lake Dickson while viewing The three glaciers and all the group became quiet just enjoing the peace and the spectacular views. Sitting round the campfire at the first outpost while the hailstones fell on us was certainly memorable. The views from my horse while riding were also very memorable.

It was great to be out of internet range for a few days to completely relax. Even when I arrived at the estancia it felt as if walking onto a movie set. The peace and quiet and absolutely vast landscapes during the ride were mesmerizing. Felt one with nature

Patagonia was full of the most gorgeous landscapes, wildness, and authentic people. We had adventures, ate amazing foods, and made friends that we still keep in touch with. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

The trip was really nice. The guide was friendly and knowledgble, the experience authentic as we stayed in ‘refugios’ that are still being used today, and the scenery was stunning (on the days it didn’t rain ;) ). The food was good, and we felt very welcome at the estancia. What bothered me was the extreme caution for safety, and the fact that we could only walk on the rides (as I’m an experienced rider it would be nice to do some faster riding now and then and thus also see more of the park and warm up a little bit). On the trip, there’s also to do a boat trip on the 4th day, this wasn’t mentioned to me beforehand.

Many memorable moments! Ridding to hidden glaciers was amazing to be out in the mountains and elements and completely disconnect from my phone and everyday life. Our gaucho was amazing and we had delicious food the whole time! It was a really great experience an rare opportunity to be somewhere so wild. Puema Hue was also amazing, but different experience. Nothing was ever a problem and there were endless activities in a stunning location. The accomodation was very comfortable and felt like I was staying in my own beautiful home!

The horsettrekking was the highlight! But also the sailing (with sailboat) trip on the beagle canal and Torre Del Paine, but also the dinosaur footprints! Landscape was rugged and wild, the locals open and very friendly. I'll tell my friends and family that it was a trip of a lifetime! Surpises were the high fees for limited amount of cash withdrawels, we weren't aware of the high inflation beforehand (but that changes very quickly). but also good surprises like the brilliant hospitality of the locals. Magic moments.... the silence in the bays of Terra Del Fuego, Horsetrekking and not seeing anyone else for days and seeing the humpback whale in the Beagle canal
