Life before Swoop
I grew up in Cardiff and spent most family holidays exploring the beaches and waterfalls of South Wales, and the islands of Scotland. As I got a bit older my need for adventure took me further afield, from diving on the Great Barrier Reef and hiking volcanoes in Indonesia, to canoeing the rivers of Yosemite National Park.
I always enjoy new experiences and places. I absolutely love the ocean and have been lucky enough to surf breaks all over the world including Hawaii, California and The Cook Islands, as well as working as a surf instructor in the UK.
Day to day at Swoop
My role here at Swoop enables me to chat to customers about what they’re looking for when planning their trip to Patagonia by finding out a bit about their background and previous trips. I am then able to pass them on to one of our specialists in that area, to ensure that they get the best experience possible.
Why I love the great outdoors
Whether it’s hiking under the stars to witness an amazing sunrise atop a mountain, going off the beaten track to discover deserted lagoons or simply packing up my van for a weekend of camping and surfing, I have always been a fan of spending time in the great outdoors.
Not only does it allow you to experience incredible new things, but even the smallest of trips can turn into an exciting adventure!
The next adventure
I have a couple of exciting trips planned this year - a road trip around the islands of the Outer Hebrides and a few days in Norway going snowmobiling and chasing the Northern Lights!
