Overall, how was your trip?
Every day of the trip was unbelievable. The highlight was definitely the W trek. The landscapes were beautiful and we were able to see many rare sightings of native animals such as huemul and puma. We met many like-minded hikers who were passionate and excited about experiencing Patagonia. The guides and locals were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Every time someone asks me how my trip was, my first response is "YOU HAVE TO GO!"
In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?
Patagonia exceeded every expectation I had and I would return in a heart beat.
Would you visit again?
How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop was extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire planning process. It's easy to get overwhelmed with the number of activities and towns to visit and I am so happy that I consulted with the travel experts at Swoop. Tom didn't hesitate to hop on a phone call when I had questions from across the Atlantic Ocean. They were truly dedicated to curating a personal itinerary that included every thing I wanted, and provided helpful recommendations and advice when I was unsure of certain parts of the itinerary. I would (and already have) recommend Swoop to a friend.
How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?
Swoop matched us with great local partners and it was very easy to communicate with both parties. They definitely have trusted relationships with the local companies and everything worked out as expected.

What was the highlight of your W trek?
Torres del Paine was the best part of my entire time in Patagonia. It was such a unique experience, and our guide Paz made it unforgettable. If and when I return to Patagonia, I will definitely book her as my guide again. I enjoyed staying in a mix of refugio and camping to get the full experience. I will say that the first day (3 hour wildlife walk) was interesting but I would have rather gone straight to the park and spent more time at Refugio Las Torres or hiked the towers the first day.
