Life before Swoop

After decades of city energy in San Francisco and New York, I found solace in the mountains of Peru, and now Argentina, which I call home. Cycling the Andes solo was an amazing way to disconnect and discover what is truly important.

As Mark Twain said, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

My Patagonia experience

I’ve had jaw-dropping, mind-blowing moments hiking and biking in several National Parks throughout Chile and Argentina; Los Glaciares, Lanin, Lago Puelo, Nahuel Huapi, Los Alerces, Tierra del Fuego, Lauca, Puyehue, Pumalin, Conguilio, Torres del Paine, Queulat, Cerro Castillo, and Hornopiren.

I’ve always been fascinated by getting out of my comfort zone and pushing my limits to discover how extraordinary nature truly is. In Patagonia, there is something for everyone and even the most seasoned traveller will be humbled and in awe of the unique landscapes so distinct to Patagonia.

Day to day at Swoop

As a Patagonia Customer Experience Coordinator, I spend my time making travel dreams a reality by working with independent bookings from my remote office in Argentina.

As I am most comfortable in the wilderness with my tent and bike on remote backroads, it makes me ridiculously happy to share my natural ability to sort out trip details, kit and encourage others to get outdoors and soak up that abundance of wonder and beauty!

The next adventure

I was so inspired by other travelling families I met on my life-changing trip through Patagonia, I would love to cycle the Carretera Austral with my kiddo!
