Day 2: Pingo Valley and Lake Grey; Tierra Patagonia Hotel
Departing from the hotel by van, we'll pass through the most beautiful viewpoints of the National Park until reaching the Grey entrance. From here, we'll begin hiking through the Pingo Valley, following a gently sloping trail that follows the bed of the Pingo River. This is one of the greenest areas of the park where it is also possible to see interesting geographical formations.
As we continue on our trek, we'll pass by an old puesto of the gauchos and will come to the Chorrillo del Salmon – a small waterfall hidden away in a Nothofagus (Southern beech) wood. We'll take some time to stop here and soak up the surroundings before starting the return route, along the same path.
After stopping for lunch, we'll visit the picturesque Lake Grey and see icebergs from the glacier floating on the water. Glacier Grey can be seen in the distance.
We'll return to the luxury of the Tierra Patagonia Hotel for a relaxing evening.
Difficulty: Easy

Day 3: Trek Cordillera Baguales; Tierra Patagonia Hotel
Today we'll trek in the area of Cordillera Baguales, one of the least explored parts of this region. It's about an hour by van from our hotel. This is an intense hike, gaining 650m of altitude over 3hrs. The ascent is relentless, but there are excellent opportunities to spot wildlife.
At the summit we'll see some interestingly formed sedimentary rocks which have been eroded into whimsical shapes, as well as stunning views of Torres del Paine and the surrounding valleys, when the weather is clear.
On the way back, we'll trek along the edge of a beautiful and ancient lenga forest, close to Las Chinas River before arriving at the Tierra Patagonia Hotel.
Difficulty: Hard
Length of hike: 5.5-6.5hrs
Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, dinner
Accommodation: Tierra Patagonia Hotel
Day 4: Trek to Cerro Guido summit; Tierra Patagonia Hotel
This trek starts at Estancia Cerro Guido. The first section ascends steadily as we navigate first through forests which then open up to wetlands where it is possible to spot guanacos. As we gain altitude the landscape steadily turns rocky and dry as it is exposed to the wind.
When we reach the summit of Cerro Guido we'll have panoramic views of Paine Massif and Cordillera Baguales – a truly magnificent sight and worthy of the effort to reach it. At the summit of this peak you'll find the remains of an indigenous burial mound, a fitting and poignant place from where to observe the majesty of the Torres del Paine and the immense Patagonian landscapes.
We'll enjoy a relaxing evening back at the luxury of the the Tierra Patagonia Hotel.
Difficulty: Hard
Length of hike: 6-8hrs

Day 5: Transfer to Punta Arenas Airport
After enjoying breakfast, we may have time in the morning for one last excursion or spa treatment before transferring to Punta Arenas Airport – approximately a 4hr drive.
