Hard to say. At every turn in every hike there was a view that took our breath away. Getting to the base of the towers on a clear day was unforgettable. Having a cocktail chilled by glacier ice on the last day may be the coolest thing ever.

Our guide, Lucas, was wonderful and made the journey possible for me. Overall, everyone we met was absolutely fantastic. The sites and experiences were fantastic but people generally make the trip!

It was wonderful, the scenery and the people make Patagonia a very special place. We would return and encourage others to visit.

The large calving/ icebergs at Grey Glacier that happened a day or so before we arrived - even our guides had never seen such large glaciers there (and he's been guiding there for 10+ years). As or the W Trek overall... forging a high river during a rain storm/ seeing avalanches and hiking on a Grey Glacier!

The trail from Paine Grande to Mirador Glaciar Grey was one of the most spectacular ones from every sense. After walking the uphil against the strong wind for a while, we couldn't but wonder at the scene of Cero Paine Grande on the right side and Lago Grey on the left. It was a marvelous scene, different from any other place in the world.

Meeting Emi (Emiliano Garcia) in El Chalten for great hikes to see Fitz Roy and the condors. Emi is an outstanding guide who listened to us and then made his recommendations for hikes. Three nights at Los Ponchos Luciana, Barbara, Florence and Maggie were absolutely exceptional in working to help my wife Ginger (GG) recover from the long ride from El C. Rarely if ever have we been treated so kindly!!

Our guide, Cristobal, made it an extremely memorable experience. His knowledge of the area and easy-going nature made him a perfect travel companion. Our 5 days in Torres Del Paine were absolutely incredible. The sites were jaw-dropping gorgeous.
