Swimming with the guide, Soledad, in the iceberg bay was absolutely fantastic, with icebergs calving and flipping every few minutes.

There were so many highlights, but I guess I would say my days at Torres del Paine were the most memorable. Seeing the beautiful cliffs at different times of the day, in the clouds, in the sun - they had a different personality every hour. The people of Chile and Argentina were warm and friendly.

This was totally unplanned, but one of our best memories was sharing mate and conversation at an Estancia when our vehicle broke down. Our guide (Christobol) turned a delay into a wonderful hour of learning and relaxation.

Our guide, Lucas, was wonderful and made the journey possible for me. Overall, everyone we met was absolutely fantastic. The sites and experiences were fantastic but people generally make the trip!

Meeting Emi (Emiliano Garcia) in El Chalten for great hikes to see Fitz Roy and the condors. Emi is an outstanding guide who listened to us and then made his recommendations for hikes. Three nights at Los Ponchos Luciana, Barbara, Florence and Maggie were absolutely exceptional in working to help my wife Ginger (GG) recover from the long ride from El C. Rarely if ever have we been treated so kindly!!

Too many to narrow down to one!! Walking into Patagonia camp was one of the most epic moments of the trip. All of the hikes we did were absolutely fantastic.
