It’s hard to pick just one memorable moment. Each day of our three day trip we were blown away but the stunning views. The campsite and food were so far beyond our expectations.

We had a wonderful time hiking, sightseeing, and eating in Patagonia. Our old bodies hiked like we were 30 years old. We especially loved hiking the W. It was so beautiful, with dramatic mountains of towers and glaciers, and hillsides in prime flower blooming season. We met lots of other travelers and shared stories, and ibuprofen for our sore muscles, at the dinner table. The biggest surprise for us was actually the relaxing bus trip from El Calafate to Puerto Natales. The buses are extremely comfortable and you get to view the vastness of Patagonia and spot a lot of guanacos and rheas along the way.

Hearing Pia and Porter Glaciers calving on our excursion and seeing the pieces of the glacier flaking off and observing the dynamism and sheer magnitude of the glaciers.

Seeing the towers. Getting settled in my yurt and making a gin and tonic. Fly fishing on 3 private estancia. Getting roadblock by several hundred recently sheared sheep. Eating best lamb shank ever at Singular Puerta Natales. Getting sick. 6.5 earthquake during final dinner on rooftop of Singular Santiago. Taking home street artwork from street vendors painting in Santiago. Thanks for making it possible, even with out messed up arrival flights. Also hearing street flautists playing late on the streets of Santiago. Our transfer guides were exceptional. Thanks. Greg

The boat ride out of the park and looking back at the majestic mountains in their entirety, realizing you just spent 5 days hiking all around these insane peaks and all the views that came with it.

Staying at EcoPosada was wonderful as they offered us excursions outside normal hours (ie.very early am boat ride) and allowed our group of 4 to split up to do different activities. 3 of us enjoyed an afternoon horseback ride while one went for more birding. There were an extremely large number of birds which delighted the birders in our group. Iguazu Falls was breathtaking and made Niagara Falls look small in comparison.

Hiking Laguna de Los Tres. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was challenging, but very rewarding. We had a great group and our guides were excellent. Perfect weather, too!
