Awasi was fantastic. The staff and service were outstanding and the scenery in Torres del Paine was fabulous. We really enjoyed our hikes and our guide was particularly good.

Why we like this hotel
- You have your own private guide and 4x4 vehicle, so you can explore at your own pace, following off-the-beaten-track hiking trails.
- The native fauna remains intact, and herds of guanacos, ñandus, foxes, condors and pumas can be spotted.
- Soak in your hot tub, have a drink by the fire and enjoy long evening meals in the Relais & Chateaux restaurant.
- The stunning, secluded setting gives the hotel an exclusive feel, with more than enough space to roam or relax.
- Each villa is individually designed with a stunning view across to the iconic towers, Lake Sarmiento or the Patagonian steppe.
We think it's worth noting
- All the villas have privacy and are in their own space which we love, but means you need to walk a fair distance or get a lift if you don't want to be exposed to the elements on your way to dinner.
- It is a 40-minute drive from Awasi to the edge of the National Park and if you take the Grey Glacier excursion then you will be travel for 3 hours. There are better-located lodges for those keen to hike the W Trek.
