Why we like this hotel
- Tierra Patagonia is architecturally stunning: from the outside the building blends seamlessly into the landscape, from the inside it offers a light, airy and tranquil space.
- Expansive panoramic views—from so many angles—with a wow factor.
- A broad range of excursions are offered/included, with no minimum group sizes. Private vehicle use and excursions are included for guests staying in the suites.
- They have wonderful communal spaces including a pool & spa.
- 5* service - staff are always on hand with personalised assistance.
- The informal atmosphere and communal areas make it a great place to socialise, but there are also plenty of quiet corners to relax.
We think it's worth noting
- Tierra is located just outside of the park entrance.
- Half days are designed to come back to the hotel for lunch which means that you end up doing the same drive twice.

I was thoroughly impressed by the guides at Tierra and enjoyed getting to know those in my small group on the excursions. The variety is great and you can now do e-biking which was a fantastic way to explore the national park on two wheels with some extra power!

Of all of the luxury lodges in Torres del Paine, Tierra is my favourite. At the end of a day's exploring you still have those incredible views of Lago Sarmiento, the vast steppe, and the Paine Massif to enjoy over dinner, a glass of wine at the bar, or from your enormous bath tub.

About the Suites
Each Suite has its own colour scheme, based on the nature surrounding the hotel, and guests can enjoy a swathe of new amenities, including a minibar with soft drinks, mixers, mineral water and juices, as well as a separate bar with spirits and select wines. The Suites also have a tea station and a Nespresso machine with an aeroccino for frothing milk. There is air conditioning and the curtains and blinds are remotely controlled.
All suites include private transfers and excursions (in our in-house operator's brand-new vehicles) along with a dedicated guide/driver for you to enjoy a more bespoke experience.
