Standing on top of an empty atacama desert hill. Seeing no end to an horizon. And in absolute silence, surrounded by absolute beauty

City is going through changes . Some hip neighborhoods, great pre Columbian museum (!), authentic fish market with great food.

Seeing ( a swiftly hiding ) puma, condors up high , and many many big species. The guides were without exception, truly committed to the preservation of the world they were showing us. Almost all with a deep knowledge and understanding of the flora and fauna we were surrounded by
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Use your worn in hiking shoes ! Not new ones Expect all types of weather Appreciate that roads in the desert are bouncy ( always ) . Trust your guides in assessing if you can complete and enjoy certain excursion or hike

Yes, That there are places on earth that still rule over man , not the other way around
