About Hosteria Mirador del Payne
Mirador del Payne Lodge forms part of Estancia Lazo which is a cattle ranch in operation since 1894. Spread over 14,000 hectares, the ranch borders the eastern edge of the national park. In 1998, the owners converted the estancia buildings into a lodge for visitors to the park.
The bedrooms are found in two separate converted barns: 'Las Bandurrias' and 'Las Golondrinas'. Several of the rooms have views out over the lake and towards the Paine Massif, some have views of the Sierra del Toro mountain range and others have views of the estancia.
In the first barn, you will find two doubles, three triples and three twins. In the second, there are 11 twin rooms and one double. All rooms are decorated in a traditional Patagonian lodge style.
In the 'Los Teros' barn are the reception, bar, living and dining areas. It's the perfect place for you to share stories with other guests or take it easy after a full day of activities.
