Operator's Itinerary

Day 1:

Distance: 35km

In the morning your guide will meet you and you still drive with him and a driver towards Cerro Castillo, which is about 1 hour from Puerto Natales towards Torres del Paine. You will stop in Cerro Castillo for your last bathroom stop with a toilet for the day and if you like a quick snack, before starting to cycle. A support truck will follow you for as long as they can and you will ride down a local road that is part gravel and part farm roads that have been created by trucks driving on them over time. The ride is mostly flat, and you will have views of the vast pampas with Sierra Baguales on one side of you and Torres del Paine ahead of you. After about 35 kilometers of cycling you will arrive at an Estancia to spend the night, the Estancia is called Cerro Guido. You will eat well and enjoy the evening in this beautiful farm house.

Accommodation: Estancia Cerro Guido

Meals: Box-lunch, Dinner

Day 2:

Distance: 31km

Today in the morning your guide will have breakfast and get ready to cycle. From the Estancia you will begin cycling on an old farm road towards Torres del Paine National Park. The ride is about 31 kms and should take about 3 hours. You will continue with views of the Paine Massif and Cierra Baguales, two large mountain ranges. You will also see Laguna Flamencos, a beautiful Lagoon that is frequently filled with flamingos. You will have to cross over a river called Rio Las Chinas, in December this river can be high and we may have to deviate a little from the regular route to get across it. Finally you will arrive in Laguna Azul in time for dinner and a good nights rest under the stars!

Accommodation: Camping

Meals: Breakfast, Box-lunch, Dinner

Day 3:

Distance: 37km

Today we start out on a single track from the camping site in Laguna Azul, on the east side of Torres del Paine. This is the same trail that Lady Florence Dixie mentions in her book, Across Patagonia. The trail is 19 km long; along the way we will cross numerous streams and creeks sometimes riding through them and others portering the bikes across. You will see the famous Torres distinctly from many other tourists and enjoy the rolling hills along the track. After lunch you will start towards a place we call Canadon Macho. This section will be another 18kms. You will arrive at a gravel road and from here be able to ride downhill to Laguna Amarga if you like, or if you are tired you can go ahead and get in the support vehicle to start your way back home. In the evening you will arrive back in Puerto Natales.

Meals: Breakfast, Box-lunch
