Being at the top of Cape Horn was emotional. I had no idea that it would have been so wonderful. However, the entire trip made a most memorable moment in my life.

There were numerous memorable moments, but likely the best was reaching the top of the trail to Torres del Paine. It was very empowering from a physical standpoint to know that the months of hiking had been culminated in this amazing hike up and up and then up some more through boulders to reach the view at the top!

Probably on the drive to Torres del Paine when I had my first glimpse of the incredible, majestic mountains. Truly breathtaking.

Sailing through the fjords and mountains on the second to last day was beautiful. The food was also very good.

Seeing Águila Glacier was my favorite moment. The trek along the bay was beautiful, and then to walk back and see the glacier and touch the water was a very emotional moment for me. Absolutely breathtaking.

There were so many...getting on Cape Horn and walking to the albatross statue and the lighthouse, watching glaciers calving, seeing pumas in the wild, Las Torres peaks morning, noon and night, star gazing on a moonless cloudless night in the Atacama, the fabian lizards in the Atacama, etc. etc.

The Australis is well-run and enjoyable. There was no one highlight of the places we visited - Cape Horn, the fiords, the penguins, and so on. The wild and beautiful mountains and glaciers were amazing to see.
