Why we like this hotel
- The hotel’s location is in the heart of the National Park at the trailhead for the hike to the Tower's viewpoint.
- Wake up to horses roaming past your windows. With about 200 horses stabled on-site, you’ll get to experience a working Patagonian estancia.
- The only hotel in the national park with such a deep-rooted history; learn about the pioneering family who settled here and built the first hotel in the area.
- An accomplished team of resident guides will help you explore and learn about the national park’s flora, fauna and history in small-group outings.
- The new waterfall-style showers are fabulous.
- Great food with more choice than many all-inclusive accommodations and guests order from it a la carte. We love the omelette bar at breakfast and the quincho for an asado BBQ.
We think it's worth noting
- Given the prime location in the national park, this hotel can sell out fast. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
- Excursions need to be booked before you arrive or at check-in which gives you less flexibility than other all-inclusive hotels.
- The Lago Grey boat trip is not included as standard and needs to be booked in advance.

One of the best located hotels in the world, Las Torres retains much of its founding heritage yet boasts an impressive recent refurbishment, making stays here comfortable and enjoyable. When staying here, I loved waking up to gauchos rounding up the horses early morning, the friendly staff and sipping a cocktail in Patagonia's most sustainable (and impressive) bars!
