Operator's Itinerary

Day 1: Climb Cerro del Medio

Hike details: 7 hours

You'll be picked up at 9am from your hotel and take a short transfer to the beginning of the trail. Depending on the weather you either will go on a one way route, or come back the same way.

You will walk on the edge of the city and follow a path of the old prison of Ushuaia to the Martiel Mountain range, to climb Cerro del Medio, one of the stunning peaks there. The summit is simple to climb, but is an impressive sight. From its 800m summit, it will feel like a Himalayan summit.

Spend 7 hours in total trekking through forests, snowy mountains and rocky terrain, you will be amazed throughout your journey by the pristine nature and unique view that surrounds you.

This trip can run as a group trip, with prices starting from $165 per person for a complete group. If you are looking to join a group or you are a solo traveller we will help to form likeminded groups of travellers. Please let us know your travel plans.

The trip can also run on a private basis to fit around your plans. Departures may be tailored and can be set up on a date of your choice. Please note that there is a higher price for smaller groups. Please enquire for further details.
