Who are Explora?
A Chilean-based, family-led company, Explora are a collective of explorers and conservationists dedicated to high-end, active travel. Established in 1993, they operate unique experiences where they own and manage every aspect of the adventure travel experience, from the architecture of their lodges to their own private school of guides.
They are major land stewards in South America, managing over 30,000 acres of conservation reserves and focusing their operations on remote territories where they can offer exclusive trail access and local immersion. Explora’s Travesias are pioneering small group expeditions to some of the remotest regions in the continent, such as Tierra del Fuego and the Salar de Uyuni.
