The Patagonia Camp was the highlight for me in Torres del Paine, great place to stay, quiet, out of the way, small family atmosphere with all the guests, great staff and tours. The rooms are amazing and awesome views. The tours were very well run with fantastic food provided.

Why we like this hotel
- The relaxed and peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the park.
- Lie in bed at night and watch the celestial display through the central dome in your yurt roof.
- All the yurts are private, with your own decking looking over the forest and/or the lake. For real luxury, upgrade to a jacuzzi yurt (Deluxe Jacuzzi or Lakefront).
- A variety of excursions flexible to your needs: physically challenging and gentle. Hike iconic trails and off-the-beaten-track.
- Partake in small group guided activities or upgrade to private excursions if you wish.
- The property's private land is filled with trails that you can take on your own to admire the incredible views and get away from the crowds of Torres del Paine.
- The WIFI internet connection is great, but only available in the restaurant / communal spaces.
We think it's worth noting
- Patagonia Camp is very popular meaning it is often fully booked at peak times in the season.
- It is at least a one hour drive from the main trails so those wanting to see 'the highlight hikes' of Torres del Paine then expect to be in a vehicle for at least 2 hours per day. The passing landscapes are amazing!
- The wind can be very strong in Torres del Paine and make the yurts flap noisily disturbing sleep. Patagonia Camp do provide earplugs for this.
- The group excursions need a minimum number of guests to confirm so while your wishes will be taken into account, they're not guaranteed to run. If this is an issue, then choose private excursions.
- All of the yurts are beautiful and cosy, but some have better views of Paine than others. We recommend booking the Deluxe Jacuzzi or Lakefront yurts for uninterrupted views from the jacuzzi.

The only trouble with basing yourself at Patagonia Camp to explore Torres del Paine is that the property is so beautiful and serene that you won’t want to leave. If time allows, build in an extra day to sleep in, relax, and immerse yourself in the landscape - or at least in the private jacuzzi!

The exclusive private program offers an even more luxurious experience with any of the accommodation options listed plus private transfers from Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, Cancha Carrera, or Cerro Castillo, and for El Calafate, Argentina, the transfer in or out provided.
The program includes private excursions to Torres del Paine National Park and the surrounding areas, subject to availability and weather conditions. One external excursion is included, with options such as Grey Navigation, a Full Day at Estancia Cerro Guido, photography or birdwatching. The package also covers a Pudeto Catamaran boat trip for the French Valley and Grey Trek excursions, along with bilingual guides (Spanish/English) and entrance fees.
Guests can also enjoy an open bar featuring premium liquors.

The ratio of staff per Yurt is 4:1, is probably the highest in Torres del Paine and means you're guaranteed excellent service. I'd recommend giving yourself an extra day at Patagonia Camp to just relax, enjoy the self-guided walks around the property and let time stand still for a brief moment.
