Land transfer from Punta Arenas to our shipping point Punta Carrera (Km 50 South). Ready to begin our adventure, we'll sail to the Francisco Coloane Marine Park where Carlos III Island is located.
Early morning we sail along Barbara Channel to Helado Glacier where we will have our first landing. In the afternoon we'll find whales around Rupert Islet, Carlos III Island & and Barbara Channel, where we can see sea lions, penguins, skuas, petrels and albatrosses, among others. In the evening we sail toward the De Agostini Sound.
Dawn Angelito Bay where we will hike to a lookout with an extraordinary view of Darwin Sound & Range, that forms its southern coast. Later in the morning, visit the Aguila Glacier where we will have a landing on the ice and a short walk. In the afternoon we sail to get to the foot of the Serrano Glacier, where we will anchor to effect a second landing. Overnight in this area.
At dawn, the FORREST will set sail to initiate the return to Carrera Bay. On route we will make a brief stop in El Aguila Bay to enjoy the farewell lunch. After this continue sailing to land in Punta Carrera around 16:00 hrs. then continue to the city of Punta Arenas.
