Tell us about the Horseriding
The guides were kind and knowledgable, there was a good balance of galloping, walking, and navigating challenging terrain, and the horses were amazing. We would highly recommend!
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Torres Del Paine has some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever witnessed. The hiking was definitely difficult, but not unreasonable for people in decent shape. The highlight was getting the towers all to ourselves between groups for about an hour. The only thing I would say, is if you are looking for solitude, the W is not the place for it. It was an amazing experience and I'm glad we did something so classic to the region, but if we ever come back I think we'll opt for something more off the beaten track.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
For someone who has always planned trips by myself it was very strange to trust a travel company to do everything - but I highly recommend it for Patagonia. With all the booking intricacies and logistical difficulties it proved invaluable.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
The whole trip convinced me that I was capable of more than I expected. From horseback riding across raging rivers to hiking 35 miles with blistered feet to finishing the W with a bad knee - I feel like I can do anything now.

Everyone was amazing!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
We entered the trip quite nervous about making flight connections - so less excited than normal. However, that all dissipated on the flight to Punta Arenas. We felt fairly well prepared.
