Tell us about Patagonia Camp
Very good guides in Eduardo and JP. Rooms were lovely and staff very capable and kind. Food was absolutely fanatastic and the lodge area beautiful. Yurt was comfortable except for hot water issue. Suggest adding a room with mats, stretchy bands and other light equipment where people can stretch and recover after a long days hike.
Tell us about Tierra del Fuego
Cruise was a wonderful chance to experience Cape Horn and the glaciers, lands and waters of Tierra del Fuego. Opportunities to get on land and walk around were most appreciated when available. Suggest adding more maps giving names of glaciers and peaks visible as passing. Wi-Fi was missed as we couldn’t look up answers to our many questions. Guides and staff were great and very focused on safety.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Incredible park with access to stunning vistas of glaciers, beautiful rivers, lakes and mountains. We visited during shoulder season and popular trails and ferry rides were packed.
Tell us about the Excursions
Recommended highly. Guides on Stella Australis were careful and kind. Guides into Torres del Paine the same.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Cooler than expected and must be prepared for rapid changes in weather and temperature.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Very well. Swoop webinars on packing, weather, currency and other bits very helpful.
