Tell us about Tierra del Fuego
Tierra del Fuego is the real deal. If we had to do it again we'd skip El Chalten and head to the vast, empty wilderness of Tierra del Fuego. We saw nobody for 3 days.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Swoop needs to do better at aligning their itineraries with the capabilities of their clients. I think there's a disconnect between what Swoop may know about trails and what the local partners know. This leads me to wonder what the value added of Swoop is. Also maybe we missed it, but a realistic packing list for the treks would be helpful given that we need to carry stuff on our backs and many of us may not be experienced trekkers.
