Overall, how was your trip?

What awed me the most has been the stunning, sheer beauty of the mountains, besides the wonderful landscapes and the infinite open range horizons. Also, the wildlife is amazing, we got to spot a puma, too (and condors, caracals, llama, guanacos, red and grey foxes...). I’ll teach my grandchdren the respect for such a special, unique place like Patagonia.

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Wonderful nature, soulful experience, amazing group, great guides.

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

I’m completely satisfied with the Swoop organization, everything worked seamlessly and with no inconvenience. I loved the choice of the different accommodations, from the dome-shaped tents to tante final hestancia. I’ve been only slightly disappointed by the below-the-average quality of the hostel in El Chaltén. A mention to the complete and detailed support and organization before the trip, as well. Well done, Swoop!

How was your Patagonian adventure?

Sophia in El Chaltén has been great, always careful and attemptive to every detail. Felipe in Torres del Paine has demonstrated even better, with a stunningly thotrough preparation for anything related to the Chilean Patagonia, from wildlife, geology, geography, clima, to history and politics. Additionally, he demonstrated to be very insightful and sensitive to the environmental threats such place has to face with.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Do not rely much on US dollars only, rather exchange in advance both Argentinian and Chilean pesos (I’d suggest the equivalent of $400 to $500 dollars per week, all inclusive).
