Overall, how was your trip?

Tierra de Fuego, Torres del Paine national park and Perito Moreno glacier national park are all equally amazing. Can't decide what was better, the condors we saw flying over us?, the king penguins nesting and their sounds?, the puma's roar in Torres tel Paine? or the beautiful bright blue color of the large piece of ice at the lago gray and perito moreno? It is a place of nature at its best. I felt I was living inside a national geographics segment for 2 weeks!!

In one sentence, what did you think of Patagonia? Did it live up to your expectations?

Patagonia was breathtakingly beautiful, exceeded my expectations

Would you visit again?

Yes

How was the service that Swoop provided?

I couldn't have made this trip as amazing and well organized without Swoop's help. I am pretty adventurous and always book things on my own, but if I had done that, I wouldn't have been able to experience all of the sites and with the quality of food and service I experienced. Hands down, I will do it again though Swoop. The staff kept me updated even through my travels and told me about potential issues I may encounter in the country I was at. I was thoroughly impressed.

How did you feel about booking directly with our partner(s)?

Swoop matched everything I wanted perfectly.

How were your wildlife encounters?

What a wonderful experience we had in Tierra de fuego. First, the crew from south expeditions were on time and waiting for us at 6:55 am. They were super nice , drivers were careful and the guide Sebastian, truly amazing. Knowledgeable and loved to take pictures , brought his camera and a telescope which we enjoyed very much. We stopped by a small hostal to get coffee and get our lunch bags when we landed in Porvenir Island. The place was really cozy and was perfect for a stop. The we drove through the island and we stopped at various spots to view some birds. Our guide knew a lot about the natural wonders and type of birds. When we got to see the penguins , the local guide there was very excited to see us as we were probably the only tourists there for the day, the penguins were amazing to see. We also spotted about 10 condors and a bunch of different birds. The drive back was also full of stops to enjoy natural wonders and flamingo spotting. Our flight back was uneventful . The day was sunny, no wind , and overall perfect.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Staying at Explora at Torres del Paine was hands down amazing. It is like staying at the Four Seasons but with a better scene since is in the middle of nature. The guides and excursions were phenomenal, made changes to accommodate to kids, service was exceptional and food was deliscious .....hands down the best experience we had throughout our 19 days in Patagonia.

Anything else? Tell us anything you’d like to share that we forgot to ask! It’s ok to leave this empty too :-)

Natascha was wonderful and help me so much to craft my perfect vacation!!
