What was your most memorable moment?
So many! Perito Merino glacier, Agostini Fjord, Lazo hike in Torres’s Del Paine, Fitzroy, the food at Ecocamp, the quality of the guides….the “horns” - Cape Horne and The Huernos at TDP.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Be aware that excursions are very weather dependent. We got lucky (except with the penguins on Magdalena Island) - others might not. We knew it would be windy but just HOW windy at times took some adjusting to! We are both 68 and while we were not about to hike the W, there was still plenty we could do.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
This trip went so well we aren already thinking about the next trip!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Make it a little easier to see that hikes in Park de Glaciares and Torres Del Paine can be tailored to different abilities. We had to dig in to get that information.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Patagonia had been a goal for many years, so it felt very exciting - and a bit daunting. As it turned out we were well prepared so need not have been apprehensive.
