What was your most memorable moment?
There were so many. We loved being under the canopy of stars and photographing the Milky Way; walking and biking on the Uyuni Flats and enjoying the sunset; watching the birth of a baby llama

Tell us about Explora
Explora was great. The rooms were very nice and really had nice excursions. The guides were great also. We actually enjoyed Bolivia even more than Chile as is was so different and isolated with fantastic scenery.
Tell us about The Atacama
The Atacama was a great experience. It is a magical place. As above though, we liked Bolivia even better, especially the Uyuni Salt Flats
Tell us about the Excursions
The guides were great as we basically had a private tour in both Chile and Bolivia. They were so attentive and even were with me when I wanted to photograph at midnight or even 2:00 in the morning. They went above and beyond schlepping food, drinks, chairs, bikes, etc on our excursions
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
I would say definitely plan to go. One note for Swoop and this question kinda highlights it-Swoop seems set up for Patagonia trips, as most of the documentation (including videos) relates to Patagonia. Since we didn't go to Patagonia (yet), a lot didn't pertain to us. And the Bolivia Travesia was quite the (happy) surprise.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Absolutely--we were a bit leery about traveling to South America and now we can't wait to go back
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
As above, the focus was so much on Patagonia, we didn't pick up what a wonderful adventure Bolivia would be. Definitely hype that!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Hmmm, we were very excited and mostly prepared. We had recently come back from Italy and immediately before the trip our son got married so maybe we weren't 100% prepared. But it all worked out beautifully
