Tell us about Torres del Paine
Yes met my expectations and more. Hiking was challenging enough but still enjoyable. The first day of hiking was a bit too crowded for my liking, but still amazing after navigating the crowds on the way up to the Towers.

Liked the option of being able to get off the boat for short walks. Beautiful rainforest like scenery.
Tell us about the Trekking
Our guide for the "W" was awesome. We really enjoyed him and 100% trusted his every recommendation. We was kind, funny, knowledgeable and reliable. We spent the most time with a guide on the "W" We had 1 guided tour to Mt. Fitz Roy from Walk Patagonia, named Friem. He was very nice, knowledgeable and did his best to accommodate the group, however we had varying levels of hikers. I felt he made good decisions on how to navigate the group and assess everyones ability.
Something Else?
Our trip was truly seamless! All the drivers were professional, arrived on time, etc. Reservations were all in place, permits etc. I am actually amazed there was not one glitch during our entire trip! Nice work....everything was very organized. My one comment for future clients would be hiking the ice glacier or kayaking. I know that Argentina has a governmental park age restriction of 65 yo to qualify for ice trekking. However, I asked Swoop to check in to this for me as an option at the Grey Lake Refugio as I am 66 years of age and the answer I received was that I would not be able to kayak or ice trek on my last day of the "W" due to my age. When I arrived for the briefing at Chile Nativo, I was told otherwise. I promptly tried to make arrangements with Big Foot to Ice hike or kayak, but they were full. At the end of my hike on the last day, I walked down to Big Foot to see if there were any cancellations and they were able to accommodate me for the ice hiking and said they did not have a 65 yo age restriction and didn't know what I was talking about. It all worked out and I was able to go, but I felt like I was given some incorrect information from Swoop as I was booking my trip. Maybe some education regarding this would be beneficial for future visitors.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Our Boutique Hotel in El Chalten was one of my favorites. Also highly recommend CasaSur in Buenos Aires.
