What was your most memorable moment?
I don’t think it’s possible to one! Seeing a Puma in Torres del Paine, reaching the towers lookout, rafting in Futaleufú, wildlife in Raul Marin Balmeceda….and the Andes and the Andes……

Tell us about the Road Trip
Hotels were overall good or excellent. 2 bits of feedback to improve: Caleta Gonzalo private cabin - this was NOT a double room. There were 3 single beds and one of us had to sleep in a loft as the second bed downstairs was too small and there was no where else to put any luggage. You booked the smallest, cheapest room here and for the sake of a few dollars we had an uncomfortable couple of nights. There were plenty of other double rooms for a few dollars more but as they were fully booked up we couldn’t upgrade ourselves and pay the difference. This is an example of if I had booked this myself I’d had made sure we got a double room. New hotel in Raul Marin was excellent. Great rooms, great food, great welcome and very very helpful. Recommended. Maníos de queulat hotel not so great. The room itself was ok, as was the breakfast. But the welcome was cold, so real help at all and a somewhat unpleasant atmosphere. Lots of notices everywhere saying what we can’t do (like being told off in school) - I’m sure there’s a better option here?
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The adventure planner is fine but it needs a bit more love. Downloading it and then having to scroll through pages and pages of text to get to the current day is laborious. Also there’s a lot of reliance on it and much cut and pasting - some of which is inaccurate and therefore confusing. Because it was completed only days before we left we didn’t have time to interrogate it properly and get answers to questions.
