Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
It is more spectacular than advertised on the tin.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I have been in Argentinian Patagonia some years ago and that had changed my perspective. I live in New Zealand and Patagonia is like a twin, in terms of Fiordland landscapes (the mountains are higher in Patagonia of course).
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Fantastic team. A couple of minor suggestions: - I didn’t really want to take my passport on the trek (rain, risk of loss or damage)- I would think a good scan should be adequate for the huts - I followed Swoop’s guidelines to a “T” eg no rain covers as the wind blows them away; I noticed even the guides had rain covers though
