Unfortunately, what I will never forget is being violently ill all night over New Years' Eve in the bathroom of a refugio, likely due to either food poisoning or a bacterial infection from the water. But on a more positive note, constantly being wowed by natural wonders I had never seen before, from the glacier to the wildflowers, was the most impressive and memorable part.

Please make sure the information you share with travelers, especially in the recorded webinar, is up to date. As noted in my earlier feedback, several pieces of information (including credit card usage, travel times, etc.) were incorrect. Please also review carefully what you tell travelers regarding necessary connection times in the Santiago airport. While I understand you may be acting in an abundance of caution, it was frustrating to realize I had been told to fly to Punta Arenas when it turned out I had more than enough time to take one of the flights to Puerto Natales.

I had been warned by a travel nurse not to drink the water from the streams but did anyway because the guides made it seem like that was the only option for water. I would tell other people to avoid doing this as much as possible due to the risk of bacterial infection (which I likely contracted) and to fill their bottles with the boiled water provided in the refugios.
