Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
- Take direct flights from Santiago to Puerta Natales rather than ones with a stop at Puerta Montt. - Bring a buff to cover your bill cap and keep it from flying off in the wind. - Make sure you keep your paper PDI form in your passport the whole trip. - Fill out the online SAG customs form into Chile, which was not clarified to us but ended up being important to have documented.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
We were able to hike long distances and elevations more easily than anticipated, feel more confident with our friends who are avid hikers.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
More details about the in-country travel paperwork would have been good (keep track of PDI paper, fill out SAG customs forms ahead of time, fly direct into Puerta Natales).

Fairly prepared, very excited
