Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
If your schedule allows, slow down the pace of transferring from one location to the next. Looking back, I would have appreciated 2-3 days in BA at the beginning of the trip to allow myself to acclimate and enjoy a bit of the city before traveling to El Calafate. Consider the length of the drives between El Chalten and El Calafate and Eco Camp. We spent a lot of time driving on the beginning of our journey which was uncomfortable after the long plan ride. I'd suggest taking a bit more time and pacing oneself with this.
