Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

Good rain proof shoes and rain gear. Buy a heated vest so you can adjust the heat settings rather than having to wear so many layers and adjust clothing as the weather inevitably changes. Also, have anti-nausea medicine handy, and if you're susceptible to seasickness, take it every 12 hours.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

All the team was fantastic. If I had to single out any particular members of the team, we loved our guide Augustin and our server in the dining hall, Sebastian (the one with all the tattoos) were fabulous.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

I don't think it changed our perspective, but more deepened the awe and respect we have for nature and the need to protect the precious resources of the planet. Patagonia is an amazing natural gift and to see how far the glaciers have receded up close was very visceral.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

Pretty prepared.

When are you thinking of taking your next trip?

I don`t know
