Tell us about EcoCamp
Exceeded expectations. Room / hut was great size. Shared bathrooms were always clean. Community huts were nice features. Food was amazing. Guides were fantastic, provided information about the area / hike, made sure the entire group was on track, helped with minor aches & pains, and just overall made everyone happy.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Torres del Paine was beautiful.
Tell us about The Atacama
The Atacama was similar to previous deserts we’ve visited. Seeing the wild flamingos and other animals was a highlight. Walking around and touring San Pedro de Atacama was also pretty fun.
Tell us about the Trekking
Guides were fantastic. Never was concerned about losing the trail or sight of guides / other group members. Daily briefs helped prepare for the following day. Highly recommend the W Trek.
Tell us about the Excursions
Excursions in the Atacama were good. Salt Flats and the Flamingos were a trip highlight. Also really enjoyed hiking through the Guatin cactus valley.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Pack layers. The weather is unpredictable, but always windy.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Chile is a beautiful country and Patagonia is a beautiful territory. Makes us want to return to explore more of Patagonia.
