Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
It would be helpful to have a clearer picture of what the trip will entail. Luckily, our group was a bunch of physically capable and adventurous people but we were told this would not involve technical hiking and according to our guide, that was incorrect. This was a very challenging hike and people should be aware of that before they sign up. As an example, Swoop doesn't call out the need for gaiters on their website and our guides had to scrabble to find some for us - an additional expense we had not planned for. To them, that was a critical piece of equipment.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Provide specific information for each trip, not just a bunch of generic articles. A Patagonia day hike is very very different than 6 nights camping in the wild.
