Tell us about the Trekking
Our guide, Pepa, was exceptional. Her knowledge of the local history and landscapes was phenomenal. She was so much fun and extremely patient with us too! The hikes themselves are not technical but there is a bit of elevation gain and you do cover some distance. Make sure your boots are worn in and you are physically ready. Don't forget your trekking poles!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
It is extremely busy but everyone was respectful and courteous. Bring a light daypack for transferring water and other essentials for most of the walks. Think carefully about what you intend to carry. Pack as lightly as possible.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
This experience certainly has changed my perspective about Chile and South America in general. An amazing country and an incredible continent.
