What was your most memorable moment?
So many. First of all maybe the most amazing was the organization of the entire trip! All our drivers were at the airport for us when we left baggage claim areas. The guides were AMAZING, the excursions were all great. Iguasu Fall tours, Perito Marino glacier, Cerro Tore, Fitzroy and all of Ushuaia.

Accommodations were also very good to excellent. The stays in Buenos Aires, and El Calafatte, were clean and very well managed. The hotels in Iguassu, Cheltan and Ushuaia were fabulous.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
I think try to plan for a little more time in Buenos Aires, it’s a magnificent city. Also, learn more Spanish than me! English speaking was everywhere, but more basic Spanish would make the trip even better. The drivers and guides were flawless with their English, but more Spanish would have made day to day interactions with others easier.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I knew Argentina was going to be beautiful, and I assumed the people would be friendly. I was blown away by both. Much more than I could have hoped for in both respects. I will add that both my wife and I noticed so many similarities between our country’s history and theirs. Hopefully they will avoid some of our mistakes.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Don’t change anything. Unbelievable service. I could not be happier.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I think we were well prepared, I would so say that while we did have the correct clothing, we got lucky with the weather and really only had one day of continuous rain. The videos on the website and the personal phone calls really helped to answer our questions.
