What was your most memorable moment?
I waited for years to go to Patagonia - a trip of a lifetime that I would highly recommend. But I would not recommend using Swoop who described our expensive accommodations at Serrano camp as deluxe. Rather it was quite basic. Not a sanctuary of “quiet for an ideal night’s sleep” as we were put in tents on the property smaller than the rest and right beside the deafening sound of the generator that ran all day and night. What was supposed to be a special celebration turned in to a nightmare. On a positive note, the people who worked for Chile Nativo at Serrano camp were very helpful and found accommodation for a couple of us nearby. The staff were very helpful and the food was wonderful and plentiful. The guide and driver that were dedicated to the group were amazing and very passionate about all the wonders that Patagonia has to offer.

Be prepared for changeable weather.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Patagonia is a beautiful part of the world. Fully check accommodations before travelling and don’t believe everything that you read. In future I would go directly to a source based in Patagonia for travel.

The people at Chile Nativo were wonderful and incredibly helpful.

We were prepared based on all the advice that you gave.
