Just one...that's tough; the entire trek from pick up to drop off was amazing and still feels like a dream that I did it! pushing my old body through the trek past where I thought it could take me is probably the best feeling ever.

Life changing

My expectations were much lower than reality. The food, service, accommodations - everything was fantastic. I felt underdressed in hiking gear for every meal since the food and service is top notch. The shared washroom facilities were always clean with lots of hot water in the showers and everything you'd need. Even the toilets were a surprise - I've used many compost toilets and never have I experienced ones when I didn't need to put the wood chips in. You wouldn't even know these are compost toilets.

The weather was definitely on our side for the entire trek. I mean, words can't really describe it - stunning, gorgeous, out of this world... must see

Our guides were fantastic. They kept the pace challenging and also manageable for the entire group. I really love the training and planning to move guides and other staff members into different roles. We had a more experienced guide and one who was doing this specific trek for the first time. Both are wonderful people with great knowledge and ability to assess the group's ability. The water and snack breaks were always at the perfect time and spots.

This was a rather large investment of money for us and we weren't sure if it was going to be worth the expense. The investment in ourselves to do this in this way was perfect for us. We couldn't be more happy to have this experience in such a fantastic place, with ecocamp and our guides, the staff and we even had the best driver.

Prepare for the trek. It is not easy and also not the most difficult. Still training for the longer days with your gear in all weather would be key. Be adaptable when folks in your group can move a bit faster or slower. Both are okay and I really liked the team / group focus. Be open minded to meeting and spending time with the same people over multiple days.

This was my first group and multi-day trek and I was more of a I like to wonder alone or with the dogs; I'll be joining some group treks / hikes now.

There was a logistics issue with the boat on the first day which shouldn't have happened. The groups were upset about this issue and it did impact how far we could hike that day. It is wasn't for the exceptional guides and how they managed through this with us, my review would likely be much different. We paid to ensure the logistics were managed accurately and they weren't.
