Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Post booking support was pretty much non-existent. I had to go back to Tomas who helped plan the trip. The Adventure Planner info was too general. For example I wanted a packing list specific to our trek. I would have preferred to be able to speak to the trip operator for local knowledge. It turned out there was a longer walk we could have done with her which was not offered by Swoop even though that was my original and specific request. Swoop should change the ‘cookie cutter’ approach. As usual, when we tell people we walk fast and want a suitably challenging trek they discount this. In Aysén the operator and guides helped with add on walks to keep us occupied. In Puerto Varas the walks were short and boring.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
