What was your most memorable moment?
Eco Camp and the W Trek highlights was better than I could have imagined. Fantastic guides, perfect weather, a great group of strangers, and beautiful scenes.

Tell us about EcoCamp
Eco Camp was incredible! Our guides, Rene and Daniel, were the best!! The domes are very cute and the standard dome actually had an outlet, which I wasn’t expecting. The food was delicious and there were a variety of options for every meal.
Tell us about Torres del Paine
Absolutely stunning! Highly recommend doing this guided and from Eco Camp so you can get a head start in the park and be with professionals who know the weather and terrain.
Tell us about Los Glaciares
Minitrekking on the Petito Moreno Glacier was neat, but it was a very large overall group and felt crowded and less personable.
Tell us about the Trekking
My guide in El Chalten was great, but it would’ve been straight forward to hike on my own since most trails are accessible from town.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Swoop made my trip planning extremely easy and took care of all the logistics. I normally plan trips myself, but don’t think I would have changed much from what Swoop set up if I had it to do again.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I didn’t have the final itinerary for my Argentinian legs before I left, so I was feeling uncertain about what time I was moving to different places. Once I got to El Calafate and my hotel connected me to the Walk Patagonia office, I received the final plan for Argentina, but it would’ve given me peace of mind to have it before I left the US.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I felt excited, but under prepared for all the hiking. However, after the first day of hiking, I was confident that my fitness and endurance, along with previous experience with multiday hikes, was more than enough to prepare me for trekking through Patagonia with a day pack.
