What was your most memorable moment?
I LOVED everything and it is so hard to identify one moment. Probably our entire time in Torre Del Paine. The hiking in the French Valley, the Torres del Paine, the Gray Glacier was absolutely amazing. We lucked out and had sunny, warm days every day! The park is unbelievably beautiful. Our base camp at the Serrano Base Camp was next level and I loved every moment there. Our guide, Christina, in Torres Del Paine was so cute, funny, informative and interesting. She made every hike so much more! We saw 5 condors, a puma, a rhea, a fox and so many interesting birds. The food was great, the people were great, the entire experience in Torre Del Paine was amazing.

Tell us about Torres del Paine
The W plus was absolutely spectacular. So glad we did the plus and not just the W because We saw so much of the park from unique perspectives. We saw condors, guanacos, so many unique birds and even a puma!
Tell us about Los Glaciares
Glacier is absolutely overwhelming. The blue is amazing. Unfortunately, the weather was very rainy and we were not able to see much on the hikes we took there. The boat was great. The local guides and drivers that were arranged by SWOOP were fantastic.
Tell us about the Trekking
Trekking was fantastic. Our guides in Torres del Paine and El Chatan were fantastic! Very organized, professional and personable. Our groups were similarly matched. We were prepared for any kind of Patagonia weather and I am so happy swoop prepared us for that because we needed every piece of gear we brought.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Watch all of the videos on the SWOOP website. Pack smart and be physically fit. We hiked at a good pace and long distances. We used all of the SWOOP hotels and restaurant recommendations in Santiago and Buenos Aires and they were all great. It made our travels so easy.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. I find the more I travel, the more I realize how much I do not know about other cultures and countries. It's so eye opening to do something like this with local guides.

Very and Very! SWOOP did a great job of preparing us.
