Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Patagonia is a long way south so even in February the weather is not as warm as you might think. It’s also a large region so be prepared for long travel days as you move from one location to another.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Patagonia is not a “wilderness” experience, although we hardly saw anyone on the two shorter hikes we went on with Patagonia Camp. There are bus tours and instagram influencers everywhere in the main parks so be prepared for crowds.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Great itinerary and service. It was reassuring to get the email about possible trip disruptions due to strikes while we were traveling. We felt very supported.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I had been to Patagonia before but it was still very exciting to travel there with Swoop.
