Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?

I loved Patagonia Camp. I would recommend countering that with one of the hotels to the E / NE of the park rather than Explora. The one advantage of Explora, aside from view, is the access to a boat to French Valley / glacier. However, the boat does not go out in 20+ mph of wind. So that option was never available to us. And the hotel was a bit dated. Many people were raving about the Terra remodel. Also, we loved El Chalten and we loved having access to a town - even with all it's quirks. It really grew on us. Torres just doesn't have the same thing - it's all about your hotel.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

We did not appreciate what a wild land Patagonia still is! And we really loved it's wildness and the natural beauty all around us!

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

We were only a little confused on the transfer from El Calafate to Explora. Times were not what was in our itinerary and there was some confusion on Park passes. But with some communications via WApp, we were able to resolve these.

How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?

We were super excited! And we were prepared enough. The hikes were demanding, but we did almost all the ones we should have (we just missed French Valley).
