What was your most memorable moment?
It is hard to choose between the many amazing vistas of the Andes that we saw. But perhaps the most memorable will be driving across the mountain pass over 4,000m and into Iruya.

We are grateful to Chloe who adjusted our itinerary according to our feedback. We enjoyed all of the accommodation but we would always prioritise being close to the town or village over luxury - for example it felt OTT to go to House of Jasmines for such a brief time. Finally - you have a great partner company in Socompa in Salta and their guide Ignacio (Nacho) Spaventa was perfect for us.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Our trip wasn’t to Patagonia - but to NW Argentina. We would advise people to take the time to really explore this amazing region.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
More appreciation for the native people and their history. Plus the incredible varied landscapes of the N Andes.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Maybe probe more about what we want from accommodation - rather than assuming luxury is the best option. Most of the choices were spot on though. Iruya is a must for people coming to this region.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Well prepared. Your invitation to webinars was good. And you kept in touch as we approached the countdown.
