What was your most memorable moment?
The hiking, the scenery, and our guides were AMAZING! But I think meeting and connecting with people from all over the globe is my most memorable moment. The world is huge, and yet seems smaller and cozier having met travelers from everywhere!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Bring saline solution nose spray - the air is very dry.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I am 65 yrs. young. This trip gave me the confidence to plan more adventure trips. I've got this!
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
My husband has two knee replacements (62 yo) and I have asthma (65 yo); we started training 6 months out (cardio, strength training and hiking). I wish we had more hiking opportunities with elevation changes but we live in a FLAT state (Kansas). But the training helped immensely, and we were prepared for our outings.
