What was your most memorable moment?
It was the first day on the humpback whale watching adventure. We saw so so much wildlife and also the natural beauty of the place. I couldn't imagine that these remote places host so much life in them and that truly changed my perspective of how lively nature is supposed to be.

Tell us about The Fjords
We saw a breathtaking glacier, yet this wasn't even mentioned in the itinerary. The tour in the Magellan Strait was much better than it is presented.

I needed an ambulance during my stay in Torres del Paine, and when it finally came after a few hours, it turned out that all along they were available, just not reachable. To my understanding, the hotel tried to contact the closest ambulance, yet the call was redirected to the main ambulance, and that main ambulance was in another call and in a location with no signal, so the hotel was simply unable to get help. That's why instead of waiting for 40 minutes, we had to wait for a few hours to get help, and it could've been easily solved with a better system. Of course that is neither on Swoop, nor on the hotel, but apparently it is a dangerous place to be in, especially if it takes a few hours to get medical attention.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Patagonia in the summer is a lot warmer than we thought. I took warmer undergarments and they were completely unnecessary.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, I commented on this before, but seeing how lively true wildlife is really changed my point of view about the nature we have at home. The human impact is much bigger than we may realise.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The provided 24/7 phone number to reach whalesound was not available, so there was a mistake somewhere, and that cost us a lot of sleep. We prepared for a 7 am pick up just in case, because we just couldn't reach anyone, when it turned out that there was a delay.

Well prepared and very excited.
