What was your most memorable moment?
There were many, and it will be difficult to select one as the most memorable. Completing the trek to Los Torres de Paine will always stand out.

Tell us about Torres del Paine
The park is beautiful and so expansive, like no where else I have ever been. Photos do not do it justice but I will treasure them never-the-less.
Tell us about the Trekking
Marcela was unbelievably knowledgeable, always aware of how our group was feeling, and she anticipated what we needed physically and when we encouragement. I really can’t say enough about her skills.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
Take walks of varying lengths and with a variety of challenges. Include lots of stair climbing if you don’t have hills on your walking paths. Boots that are comfortable and well broken in are a must, as is sunscreen, a good hat and clothes that resist wind and weather.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
My interest in preserving places like Los Torres is greater, as well as the need to protect the plant and animal life that has been misused.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
I was very excited and the webinar provided great information for preparation. It should be taken seriously.
