What was your most memorable moment?
Having Chucao Tapaculo and Black-throated Huet-Huets cross our paths on trails as they fed; spotting a pygmy owl feeding on songbird prey; and 7 Andean condors circling us at a glacial lake - all highlights of my birding opportunities.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Patagonia?
First - go - as amazing region with lots to offer visitors. Second, expect all road travel to take longer than expected relative to distances given variability of roads
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
No, as I had previous experience with nature touring in Central and South America
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Swoop could provide additional information on airports, terminals, and customs. For example, transfer from Santiago in Bogota into narrow security line for international passengers. Provide links to airport terminal maps Team members at Swoop provided excellent advice on opportunities to match client interests.
How prepared and excited for Patagonia did you feel?
Well prepared between Swoop Adventure Planner and research through travel guides and books (e.g. Conservation in Chilean Patagonia was an excellent reference)
